Lars Mikkelsen-1Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen (born 6 May 1964) is an actor from Denmark. Danish actor from Denmark. He is an actor from Denmark who has played Troels Hartmann, Copenhagen's mayoral candidate, in The Killing. [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen was the third season of Sherlock. In 2011, he was awarded the Reumert Prize of Honour At 27 years old He was enrolled in the National Theatre School of Denmark and graduated in 1995. Apart from his role in the drama show telecast worldwide as The Killing,[1] after that, he appeared in two more internationally well-known Danish drama series, Those Who Kill and Borgen III. He also played a central role in an episode of BBC drama Sherlock where he played the blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen. In the American TV show House of Cards he played the president of Russia. In 2018, he won an International Emmy Award for his part in the main character of the Danish TV drama Herrensveje. It was aired in the UK as Ride Upon the Storm in the year 2019.
