Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and television host best known as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along between her mother and father. Sheryl said that at one point her mother had stabbed one of the parents to her son due to the fact that she was getting closer to her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from college. Her passions were in the field of comedy. The only woman that made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. She began her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular participant in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! She is currently a guest co-host for the talk talk show from 2011. She also has fictional roles on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
