Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor famous for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She was a lot of her life looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. As a teenager, she was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl claims that once her mother cut her dad due to his proximity. Sheryl joined military after graduating from college. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the talk show. In addition she has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
