However, her album Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was re-discovering herself and was able to draw a wide audience. Fearless became hugely popular not only in the US which is where it's Top Ten singles Love Story and Belong with Me helped it to break six platinum records as well as around the globe. It was a huge success across Canada, Australia and the U.K. Speak Now delivered almost two years later consolidated that success and moved Swift to the heights of stardom. Her popularity only increased with her following three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 and found her moving assuredly into a realm of pop music that she had already been a part of. In the end, when she refocused her music with the stripped-down releases of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore, she still remained on top. It was a position that was confirmed with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog as in Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
